The week in review

We started out the week with Jennifer's first Mother's Day. Kenzie really wanted to do something special for her Mom so we plotted a few surprises together. We decided to walk to the Prudential Center and came across these beautiful tulips in Copley Square.
The lesson on how to sit like a lady will have to come later!
We had lunch at the Cheescake Factory....check out the avocado egg rolls....they were fantastic!
Jennifer thought the day ended here but she got a surprise spa treatment at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. Here are a couple of pics.

The next surprise was a visit to Mizu, a hair salon owned by the son of Vidal Sassoon. Jen decided to go short and I think it looks fantastic!
Here you can see the back. Look who is peeking over the screen on the computer...is that Nana and Pawpaw?
Jennifer also got this pretty 'Edible Arrangement' especially from Kenzie. Her favorite part was the chocolate covered strawberries!
Later in the week I caught Kenzie and Jennifer reading a book in her tent.
We decided that it is time to start making tooth brushing part of our daily routine. Here you can see Kenzie getting her teeth brushed for the first time last night. I think she was a little suspicious at first.....
 She actually loves it!
On the right side of the blog you can see I've added a countdown timer until our moving day. We are doing everything to enjoy the time that we have left in Boston, but can't help but be excited about our return home. It will be here in no time.
We had a great time surprising Mom this week and she sure does deserve it. Kenzie has a lot of reasons to be smiling!
This week we travel to West Point to see Uncle Danny graduate and then it's off to medical school. We sure are proud of him.

Have a great week!
Ashley
