Water Valley and the Watermelon Carnival

Recently we had Honey and Pops over for a visit and we had lots of fun as usual. Here you can see Honey and Kenzie working on a project... what could they be doing?
Making an American flag to send over to Uncle Larry in Afghanistan!
Pops brought some soybeans from the farm for Kenzie to play with. They were already taller than she is! A few more and we could have had some Edamame...
This weekend we traveled to Water Valley for the Watermelon Carnival. Here's Kenzie 'playing' piano.
 Shrimp tacos at the BTC.....
Every year there is a walk/run at the Watermelon Carnival. Honey organized a group of us to walk in honor of Larry and Maggie as they are serving in Afghanistan.
 In action....
Kenzie closing in on the finish line (cue Chariots of Fire music)...
Crossing the finish line for Uncle Larry and Aunt Maggie!
Looking at all of Honey and Pop's pretty flowers.
Playing with our big ball in the yard...
The remains of the ball after an unfortunate accident involving Pops. Kenzie handled it pretty well....

 Swinging with Honey....
 ....and being silly!
 Meet the Butternut family-

Aunt Lisa brought Kenzie a beautiful dress back from her mission trip to Panama.
Kenzie loves playing doctor. Dr. Kenzie MD as she calls it. Here she is putting a band aid on Pops.
We had a great weekend with family and friends. We are so fortunate to have such a wonderful family!

Have a great week,
Ashley
