Lots of Fall Fun!

Fall has been pretty busy so far but you can bet we've had some fun. Recently we made a trip down to Biloxi to celebrate Grandma Mable's 90th Birthday. Fortunately she was generous enough to share her purple balloons with Kenzie....

 and some of her cupcakes!
We also traveled to Water Valley to spend some time with Babe and Gran. Kenzie kept picking flowers for Babe to "put in her hair so she will laugh". See how things progressed.....

 Doesn't Babe look tropical?

We got to have some of Babe's bread for breakfast at Honey and Pop's house. It's one of our favorite things to eat!
A trip to Water Valley is never complete without a stop at the BTC for breakfast or lunch!
Honey came to spend some time at our house over the weekend. Kenzie and Honey drew faces on some mini-pumpkins...I think Kenzie is pretty proud of their work!
Kenzie couldn't wait to work on carving the pumpkin. She helped so much this year and wasn't afraid of the "gooey" stuff at all

 Admiring her work.....
The week of Halloween was spent in Birmingham. They have an annual "Boo at the Zoo" that turned out to be great fun. As you can see Kenzie wanted to be a piglet (like Olivia) again this year. Needless to say our little pig was a little more chunky this year! Leaving the hotel....

There were lots of fun things to do at the zoo. There was a trick or treating village set up for the children.
Kenzie wanted to ask for candy at each booth by herself...
On the carousel...
A cool shot of Jennifer and Kenzie on the carousel

Back home the leaves are falling- Kenzie decided to get a head start on the raking-

Perfect weather for a picnic....event Tux is in heaven!
Kenzie reminds me all the time to stop and smell the flowers! Gonna make sure I do that this week!

Seriously Behind....

I'm going to keep things brief and just post some pictures of all the fun we've been up to lately!
We recently got to babysit Kirksey for Katie and Richard. Here's Kirksey and Kenzie chowing down on lunch-
Concentrating on a target at Healthworks

Kenzie was impressed with the "big brain"
We got to release some butterflies that Kenzie raised from caterpillars. They were a gift from Honey-
 Waving bye-bye to the butterflies...
We also spent a week in Birmingham. Kenzie loves the the McIwain Center-
Kenzie got to meet Dora and Diego!
Fun at the zoo with Nana....
Holding a butterfly in the butterfly garden-

Kenzie has decided she wants to be an astronaut. Here she is piloting her "spaceship"...
The Alzheimer's Association recently held their annual walk in Tupelo. Katie, Jen, Kirksey, and Kenzie before the walk-
We had a lot of friends and family show up to support our team. Our team raised over $3,000 and the Tupelo walk total was more than $30,000! It was a great day-
This weekend we visited a pumpkin farm in Blue Mountain
Kenzie got to pick out her own pumpkin-

With a real touch of fall in the air, it was a great weekend!
