Maybe Spring is really here!!

We've had a great week. I am relieved to report that we are finally getting some warmer weather. We were able to get out and finally enjoy the city! This week I promise a little less talking and a lot more pictures. Let's get things started....
Why spend all that money on expensive toys when a plastic fruit container will do the trick?
Kenzie got a new friend this week. Pat the Bunny. I think she likes him!

I was in a gift shop this week and couldn't resist this little dress.

Now that is about as big as a grin can get!
We were not the only ones who took advantage of the great weather. The Faneuil Hall area was packed with tourists, street musicians and vendors.
Homemade waffle cones (both of these were for Jennifer of course!)
 A beautiful, curved stone entryway....
An old waterfront trade building converted to a restaurant-
Check out this hilarious sign for a pub downtown. I think it is self explanatory.
I like this shot a lot. It really is all about scale. You can see the nearly 300 year old 'Old State House' in the distance surrounded by the rest of the city. It's something to see.
Kenzie is crawling like crazy now so an entirely new element of busyness has entered our lives. She has also developed an obsession with our television remote. Here you can see a couple of clips of her getting frustrated and plowing through the rest of her toys (including the new 'Pat the Bunny' featured above) to get to the remote. I am thinking that maybe I will call Comcast and see if I can get another one for her!
I just love watching all of the little things that happen while Kenzie is growing up. She's very interested in detail and her dexterity is improving. Here's a short clip of her 'enjoying' some avacodo.
Here's a couple of great shots of Kenzie and Jen just before bedtime last night.

Here's to another great week of warmer weather!

  2. Love the way she was picking through those toys to get to the remote. I think this means she's going to be an excellent shopper someday, plowing through all the bins in search of the perfect deal.....with Daddy's credit card, of course! :0) Can't believe how well she's doing with those tiny pieces of avocado! Oh, yes..... less than 3 months!!! Can I get an AMEN from some grandmothers out there?!

  4. Yes, why do we even buy toys?!? Kenzie really knows what she wants. No more distracting her (as we're still able to do, for a little longer). We're so ready for you to get back! Both of your girls are looking so beautiful!
