Apologies to all for the delay in posting this. Things have really been busy here in the Harris household. We've hit a major milestone since the last time we talked-Kenzie turned 1 year old on June 12th! It's hard to believe that our little girl is already 12 months old.
We kept our celebration small here in Boston. Of course we are planning a belated birthday bash when we make it back home in July. On Sunday we walked down and got Kenzie her own special birthday cupcake. I'm going to let the pictures do most of the talking-
Look who dropped by for the birthday celebration; it's the Grandmothers, Aunt Kathy, and Aunt Amber and Uncle Stephen! What would we do without Skype?
We were not too sure what to think about the cupcake at first.....
Trying to share with Dad....
It's hard to believe that was once a cupcake!
After our cupcake, we got to open a few gifts.
We've been hard at work getting ready for our big move. The movers come next week to pick up our furniture so we'll be wrapping up our last week in Boston in a hotel. We're excited to have Nana coming up to help us keep it together over the next two weeks and we are going to put her to work! Maybe me and Jen can sneak in a dinner for two?! All of this action has Kenzie spinning in circles-see the video below...In other news the Boston Bruins won the Stanley Cup last night in game 7. I've never been a big hockey fan but I did watch some of the game and was proud of our team. As you might imagine, things were just a little noisy in downtown Boston last night.
I am also very excited to report that my brother Danny married his fiancee Ashley last weekend in Atlanta. Currently the happy couple is on a tropical honeymoon cruise and enjoying every minute I'm sure. Though I wasn't able to be there I hope to have lots of good pictures to share soon. This raises an interesting dilemma for Danny.... you see, his brother and wife are both named Ashley Harris!
Here are a few more pictures of Kenzie smiling it up for the camera. In two weeks we'll be home sweet home!
Ashley
Woo hoo! Get 'er done, and get 'er home!!! :0)
